ce projet est une collaboration avec des membres de l'association franco-africaine des femmes du 13è arrondissement
il n'est pas question - pour le moment en tous les cas - d'aboutir à un quelconque résultat mais de traverser une rencontre
cette dernière est un moteur de mon travail
elle a ainsi précédemment généré la démarche bi-portrait

aujourd'hui, c'est par des rendez-vous, des ateliers, un jeu de questions-réponses que nos envies respectives vont s'aiguiser
je ne projette ni une forme, ni une restitution, ni une représentation en particulier
dans toute rencontre, il y a une part d'indéfini, d'aléatoire et de contrainte
ce sont ces articulations qui m'intéressent
l'enjeu principal est d'envisager ces entre-deux comme un lieu de possible pour construire ensemble
quoi ?
nous sommes en train
1- ça a commencé lors d'une manifestation à bétonsalon, j'y mangeais des spécialités africaines préparées par l'association que je découvre alors
j'ai discuté avec certaines femmes adhérentes
2- je rencontre sindé doucouré, présidente de cette association
puis je lui rends visite pour entamer un dialogue, le 16 juillet
3- échange de service : nous établissons que chacun s'investit, d'une manière ou d'une autre
pour ma part, je propose de m'engager dans l'association, à mon endroit
je m'improviserai peut-être secrétaire
je ferai peut-être un film auquel sindé pense depuis un moment
4- nous ferons éventuellement une sortie à la plage, dans l'été
5- je prendrai éventuellement des cours de cuisine ou j'assisterai à d'autres ateliers proposés par l'association, à la rentrée
la liste ne fait que commencer
l'un des axes de ces temps partagés est le langage
il guidera de fait l'évolution de nos échanges et sera le centre de notre attention
quel type de paroles ?
quelles adresses ?
nous nous attacherons à préciser ces différents niveaux de lecture
sa compréhension, son incompréhension
présence irréductible des corps
étrangeté des enjeux et des désirs
dès lors, proposerons-nous des partitions à partir de cette matière ?
ferons-nous des chorégraphies radiophoniques ?
animerons-nous un show culinaire télévisé ?
discuterons-nous simplement autour d'un pot ? »

L’association franco-africaine des femmes du 13ème arrondissement accompagne des familles et plus particulièrement des femmes dans leur insertion dans la société française. Elle agit dans le domaine de l’alphabétisation, le soutien scolaire, l’aide aux démarches administratives, le dialogue interculturel. Elle regroupe de 50 à 60 femmes essentiellement originaires d’Afrique noire mais aussi du Maghreb : Sénégal, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambie, Guinée, Burkina Faso et beaucoup d’entre elles viennent du Mali comme Sindé Doucouré, la présidente.
Pour financer leurs activités, les femmes cuisinent et vendent leurs repas, lors d’événements comme la Semaine de la solidarité ou lors de manifestations autour de l’Afrique.
L’association sert de médiatrice dans de nombreuses démarches administratives : constitution de dossiers pour l’acquisition d’un logement, de papiers, d’aide pour la santé… L’association a aussi tissé des liens avec les foyers de travailleurs migrants présents sur l’arrondissement. Elle a obtenu pour les femmes la possibilité d’accéder à la salle de prière le vendredi au Foyer du Boulevard Masséna, celle d’utiliser les cuisines du foyer Bélièvre pour préparer les repas qu’elles vendent. Elle a aussi été présente à côté des résidents du Foyer des Terres au Curé lors d’expulsions par la police.
Après des études en arts plastiques et un parcours d’interprète dans quelques compagnies de danse, Mickaël Phelippeau suit la formation ex.e.r.ce au CCN de Montpellier. Il travaille ensuite avec entre autres les chorégraphes Mathilde Monnier, Alain Buffard, Laure Bonicel, John Scott, Julie Desprairies, Catherine Contour, Daniel Larrieu, Sylvain Prunenec, le metteur en scène Gilles Pastor, l'écrivain Christophe Fiat. Il collabore également et à divers titres aux projets et chantiers d'autres chorégraphes, d'écrivains tels que Édouard Levé, de plasticiens tels que Laurent Goldring, de chanteurs tels que Barbara Carlotti…
De 2001 à 2008, il travaille avec quatre autres artistes au sein du Clubdes5, collectif de travail privilégiant le maintien d'un laboratoire permanent, la production de projets axés sur la notion de collectif et la création. Avec l’un des autres membres, Maud Le Pladec, il crée Fidelinka-extension et Fidelinka en 2005.
Il développe en parallèle ses propres projets et poursuit une démarche à géométrie variable. Son travail s’inscrit dans le cadre d’expositions, de festivals d’arts vivants ou de manière plus sauvage. En dix ans, il a mené une vingtaine de projets.
Depuis 2004, Mickaël Phelippeau axe principalement ses recherches autour de la démarche bi-portrait.

there is no question - yet in all cases - to lead to any result but to make an encounter

today is by taking appointments, workshops, quizzes; that our respective desires will get sharpened
I do not plan a form; output nor any particular
event, in every encounter there is an element of indeterminacy, randomness and coercion and are those articulations that interest me
the main issue is to consider these in-between as a possible place to build
what?
we are just starting
1 - it began with a demonstration in Bétonsalon, I ate African specialities prepared by the association
I talked with some women members
2 - I meet Sindé Doucouré, president of the association
then I visited her in order to begin a dialogue, July 16
3 - exchange service: we decided that each part will be involved in one way or another
for my part, I propose myself to the association
I will improvised myself perhaps as secretary
I shall make perhaps a film which Sindé thought for a while
4 – we will possibly make a trip to the beach in the summer.
5 - i might take cooking classes or I will be attending other workshops offered by the association
the list is just beginning
one of the axes of these shared times is the language
in fact it will guide the evolution of our exchange and will be the center of our attention
what kind of words?
whom will it be addressed to?
we will strive to clarify the different levels of reading
his understanding, his incomprehension
irreducible presence of body
strangeness of the issues and desires
therefore, we will propose partitions from this?
shall we do a choreography for the radio?
will we lead a culinary TV show?
will we just talk arround a pot?"

The Association of Franco-African women of the 13th district helps families and especially women in their integration into french society. It acts in the field of literacy, tutoring, assistance with administrative procedures, intercultural dialogue. It comprises 50 to 60 women mainly from Africa but also North Africa: Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Guinea, Burkina Faso and many of them come from Mali as Sindé Doucouré , the President.
To finance their activities, women cook and sell their food at such events as the Week of Solidarity or at events around Africa.
The association serves as a mediator in many administrative steps: creation of folders for the acquisition of housing, documents, health support ... The association has also establishes links with the migrant workers organizations of the district. It got women the opportunity to enter the prayer hall on friday in the Foyer of Masséna Boulevard, to use the kitchens of the Bélièvre lobby to prepare the meals they sell. It was also presented alongside the residents at the Foyer des Terres Curé during evictions by the police.
After studying fine arts and an interpreter in several dance companies, Mickaël Phelippeau following training in ex.erce National Choreographic Center of Montpellier. He then worked with, among others, the choreographers Mathilde Monnier, Alain Buffard, Laure Bonicel, John Scott, Julie Desprairies, Catherine Contour, Katalin Patkai, Cécile Proust, 1000 plates, Daniel Larrieu, Sylvain Prunenec, director Gilles Pastor, the writer Christophe Fiat. He also collaborates in various projects of other choreographers, writers such as Édouard survey of artists such as Laurent Goldring, singers such as Barbara Carlotti ...
From 2001 to 2008, he worked with four other artists in the Clubdes5, collective labor favoring the maintenance of a permanent laboratory, the production of projects on the concept of collective creation. With one of the other members, Maud Le Pladec, it creates Fidelinka-extenion and Fidelinka in 2005.
It develops in parallel its own projects and pursues a variable geometry. His work is part of exhibitions, arts festivals or more wild. Since 1999, he led twenty projects.
Since 2004, Mickaël Phelippeau focused his research on the process of bi-portrait.
