"Fût une fois une histoire qui n’avait que peu de mots et peu de couleurs.
Ses personnages s’en foutaient, ils partaient et revenaient
Mais à la ZAC Masséna, sur la passerelle, un type,
Tous les jours, venait peindre.
A croire que la nuit, il dort sous le pont, et le jour sur le pont.
Il peignait on ne sait quoi, ni vraiment pourquoi.
Mais les mots de l’histoire augmentaient,

Jean-Philippe Basello est né à Wattrelos en 1988. Il est étudiant à l'école des Beaux-Arts de Paris (ENSBA); amoureux d'Aline. Il a participé au Web Flash Festival au Centre Pompidou en 2008. En 2009, il est en résidence au CENTQUATRE pour la réalisation du projet peinture 19ème, et a réalisé une exposition à l'Antenne Jeune Flandres. Pour Playtime, Jean-Philippe Basello a peint sur la passerelle du jardin des Grands Moulins pendant une quarantaine de jours.
